The flavor! Oh friend, you have to try this Healthy Sugar-Free Berry Sorbet! It marries the flavor of a fruit sorbet with the texture of shaved ice. Made with no refined sugar and with only three ingredients, it is a favorite of both toddlers and adults. The perfect sugar-free sorbet recipe!

A Fruit Sorbet Recipe with No Refined Sugar
Fruit sorbet is notoriously full of sweetener–lots and lots of sugar. It is essential to get the texture that is sorbet’s signature.
But you can achieve a delicious sorbet without sugar. It might not have exactly the same texture, yet it will retain the same amazing flavor and hit the perfect sweet spot to satisfy your cravings.
This recipe for Healthy Sugar-Free Berry Sorbet is simply frozen applesauce mixed with berries and natural sweetener…but in the perfect amounts to yield a sweet treat that is both good for your health and your tastebuds.
A Healthier Alternative to Shaved Ice
This recipe is also reminiscent of shaved ice. The difference? No refined sugar, food dyes, or artificial flavors. Only pure, natural, healthy goodness.
Can I Substitute Honey for Sugar in Sorbet?
Yes, honey is a perfect substitute for sugar in fruit sorbet. Because honey tends to be sweeter than sugar, start with a small amount of honey and taste-test until you reach the desired sweetness. Another way to enhance the sweetness without sugar is by adding applesauce and other naturally-sweet fruit.
